Who am I?

My name is Timothy Joshua Moua, and I often contemplate my identity and purpose in life. I am a firm believer in God and consider myself a child of the divine. My faith is a fundamental part of who I am and influences my actions in all aspects of life. Whether I am working in corporate research, pursuing my passion for acting and film, or serving my country as a member of the armed forces, I always stay true to myself and my beliefs. I am grateful for God's constant presence in my life, and I strive to be a reflection of his goodness in everything I do.

 In the The Beginning

On a December day in 1994, I was born in Chico, California. My mother, surrounded by doctors, brought me into the world after a long and strenuous labor. As I took my first breath, I was filled with the precious gift of life, taking in oxygen from the world around me. Since that day, my journey through life has been full of wonderful experiences and opportunities.

Life has been an exhilarating adventure, filled with valuable lessons from taking risks, experiencing failures, and achieving great victories. However, instead of discussing my personal journey, I want to delve into who I am and what I stand for. At the core of my being, I am a passionate and curious researcher who thrives on exploring the unknown and challenging assumptions.

In school, I initially pursued a career in the health industry, with majors ranging from biochemistry to exercise science, thinking I was going to school for physical therapy or physician assistant. However, I discovered UX research later on and found myself drawn to the process of exploring the unknown and using research to inform strategic planning and creative design. Although I have a deep appreciation for the human body and helping patients understand their conditions, I have found my passion as a UX Researcher in the corporate business world and have no regrets about taking a different path.

In addition to my work experience, music is a vital part of my life. While some of my friends might call me old-school for still listening to Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, as well as some old-school rap from the 90s and 2000s, I mostly listen to Christian music now. I enjoy listening to classical and orchestral music, which I refer to as "Epic Music," while working on a new script, drafting a new story, or working remotely. The slow, rapid, and steady upbeat rhythms keep my brain engaged and energized.

As for my favorite activities, I love working out, hiking, engaging in outdoor activities, shooting, investing, writing songs and stories, hunting, and spending time with God, family, and friends. Although I'm a man of nature at heart, I also enjoy city life's hustle and bustle. I'm a diehard football fan and enjoy attending live games, regardless of the sport. Loud music and audiences sometimes help keep my blood flowing. Travelling and trying different kinds of food are also among my favorite hobbies.
